Two Stephens College Conservatory Faculty Star in National Tour

Stephens College Conservatory for the Performing Arts faculty John Hemphill and Lisa Brescia are starring in the Dear Evan Hansen Broadway national tour. Brescia plays Heidi Hansen and Hemphill plays Larry Murphy.

Brescia, an Associate Professor of Acting, has also played the role of Heidi Hansen in Dear Evan Hansen at the Noel Coward Theatre in London's prestigious West End.

Brescia has now played the role on Broadway, on the Broadway National Tour and on the West End, which is a rare and remarkable trifecta for a performer.

Both Brescia and Hemphill treasure the opportunity to offer their students real-world guidance.

"I'm really driven to give students the best chance possible to fulfill their dreams," Hemphill said. "It's a joy sharing what has inspired me in my life and career in the business."
