A NIGHT OF IMPROV COMEDY to Return To The Sauk

An annual night of laughter is set to return to the Sauk Theatre in Jonesville. "A Night of Improv Comedy" will be presented Saturday, May 21 at 7:30 p.m.

"A Night of Improv Comedy" is performed by GoProv, an improvisational comedy troupe based in Goshen, Ind. GoProv uses audience suggestions to create comedy scenes. The fast-paced, hilarious show will have no rehearsal, no script and everything will be made up on the spot. This will be the eighth year GoProv has traveled to The Sauk, Hillsdale County's community theatre.

"The audiences at The Sauk over the last seven years have been fantastic," said GoProv Director Steve Freeto. "The people of Jonesville deserve entertainment and, more importantly, GoProv needs the people of Jonesville and The Sauk. We love our annual visit to Jonesville."

"This show has become a beloved tradition," said Executive Director Trinity Bird. "Hearing an auditorium full of people laughing is one of my favorite sounds. We all need to laugh now more than ever."
The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 21 at the Sauk Theatre, 240 E. Chicago in Jonesville. All tickets are $10. Tickets are available in advance at www.thesauk.org. The box office at the theatre will open one hour prior to the performance. All seating is assigned.
