Ryan McCartan will return to the role of "Hans" on the Frozen North American tour from July 12 - September 4, 2022, replacing Austin Colby, who will play his final performance on July 10, 2022. McCartan has previously played "Hans" in the Broadway and touring productions of Frozen.

McCartan, whose other credits include Wicked (Broadway), FOX's "Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's do the Timewarp Again" and Disney Channel's "Liv & Maddie," will begin performances with Frozen during the engagement at the Hobby Center in Houston on Tuesday, July 12 and will play engagements at The Music Hall at Fair Park in Dallas and The KeyBank State Theatre in Cleveland.

McCartan joins current tour cast members Caroline Bowman (Elsa), Lauren Nicole Chapman (Anna), F. Michael Haynie (Olaf), Mason Reeves (Kristoff), Jeremy Morse (Weselton), Collin Baja (Sven at certain performances), Evan Strand (Sven at certain performances), Aria Kane (Young Anna at certain performances), Arwen Monzon-Sanders (Young Elsa at certain performances) and real-life sisters Natalie Grace Chan (Young Elsa at certain performances) and Victoria Hope Chan (Young Anna at certain performances).

About Frozen

There are currently five productions of Frozen playing around the world, including Australia, Japan, London and Hamburg. The Tony-nominated Best Musical completed its Broadway run in March 2020 after breaking four house records at The St. James Theatre.

Frozen has been created for the stage by an award-winning team and features the songs you know and love from the original Oscar-winning film, plus an expanded score with a dozen new numbers by the film's songwriters, Oscar winner Kristen Anderson-Lopez and EGOT winner Robert Lopez.
