This is a show which makes Pippi come alive again in a way never done before as musical and circus is combined. It is so joyful, energetic, charming and performed by all artist in a way that really brings out the essence of Astrid Lingrens characters.

It is about girlpower, friendship, beeing kind even when you are the strongest girl in the world and this really is what we need to be reminded of today with the current world situation.

The cretive team has really handled the story with care but still dared to make it different and modern, as they have been guided by Astrid Lindgrens granddaughter Malin Billing.

Pippi is played by Ida Breimo and she is so true to Pippi and it is a joy to see here.

Björn Ulvaeus is the executive director and he has also written all the lyrics to the songs. The music is a combination of old music and newly written with Benny Andersson and Benjamin Ingrosso. It is great to see that they have reused Bortom sol och måne (beyond the sun and the moon) from Björn and Bennys musical Hjälp sökes (Help needed) which is a very beautiful song perceftly performed by Ida Breimo. Althrough the music gives a combined circus and Pippi-feeling. One of my favourites is the sweet song Jag tror jag går sönder (I think my heart breaks) were Axel Adelöw (Tommy) sings about his love to dogs as the cirucsartist performs as acrobatic dogs. And if you pay attention you will here some ABBA-notes as well during the show.

I'm not a huge fan of circus but I really loved this combination and the circus artist were so great and I do think everyone will love this show.

It is just to congratulate everyone in the creative team, the musicians, the decor, lighting and of course everyone on stage actors and artists from Circus Cirkör to this perfect joyful energetic familymusical!

Do not miss it - it only runs till the 14th of August.
