TIME FOR HAPPINESS is Now Playing at the Royal Dramatic Theatre

A woman has found the perfect plot for her own burial. Now she wants to show it to her adult kids. But only her daughter turns up. Her son seems to be late. At the cemetery they also meet a neighbour, his ex-wife and a party that just lost a family member.

Tid för glädje is a play about new and old relationships, about grief and longing, about having children or not, about fight or flight. It was premiered in Oslo in January 2020, with rave reviews.

Arne Lygre is a Norwegian playwright whose works are produced frequently around the world. He is praised for creating powerful situations through a terse style and well-written dialogue and for discussing life's big questions.
