2023 KL CITY OPERA GALA SPECTACULAR Comes to PJPAC This Week

Get ready to be swept away by a spectacular evening of operatic music and drama as BOH Cameronian award-winning company, KL City Opera presents the “Opera Gala Spectacular” featuring iconic opera scenes from Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore, Puccini's La Boheme, Mozart’s Don Giovanni to rare gems and excerpts from operas such as Bellini’s Norma, Bizet's Les pêcheurs de perles, Leoncavallo's Pagliacci, Korngold’s Die Tote Stadt and more.

Conducted by the renowned conductor, Lien Boon Hua and featuring an extraordinary line-up of Malaysian vocal talents, including sopranos Cecilia Yap, Ho Chi Mei, Tan Sin Sim, and Evelyn Toh, mezzo-soprano Lim Yee Fen, tenors Heo Yueh Ren and Tan Chee Shen, baritones Wilson Loh, James Long, and Joseph Ng, and bass-baritone, Chi Hoe Mak accompanied by the KL City Opera Orchestra and KL City Opera Chorus.
