The Sofia Cancels Events Through March 31st

The Sofia will cancel all performances and events through March 31.

They have released the following statement:

It is with great concern for you, our staff and the entire community we must cancel all performing arts events at the Sofia from March 13th - March 31st. Now is the time for a caring, cooperative effort by all that will see us through this challenging time. After this is all said and done, we promise to host the biggest arts bash of all time, and you'll be invited! Until then, the following options are available to you:

  • If you are a subscriber, we will facilitate reschedules and/or an additional show if necessary.
  • If you purchased tickets to Byhalia, Mississippi, we can offer:
    • A tax deductible donation for the price of your tickets
    • Complimentary passes to use to a future play
    • Complimentary passes to a future concert
    • A refund
  • If you purchased concert tickets, we can offer:
    • Complimentary passes to a future concert
    • Complimentary passes to use to a future play
    • A refund
  • If you purchased tickets to Sacramento Master Singers, we can offer:
    • Credit for postponed date
    • A refund
  • If you purchased tickets to The Sacramento Ballet:
    • Please contact the Sacramento Ballet's staff at your earliest convenience. 916-552-5810

Due to the nature of this situation, we ask for your patience if requesting a refund. We will need a 30 day time period to process. As a non-profit organization, this will be a challenging time and we hope you will be understanding and support us during this difficult time for all.
