Conejo Players Issues Statement on COVID-19 Outbreak

The CPT Board of Directors have issued a response to the Covid-19 outbreak:

"Dear Patrons,

First, we want to thank you for your continued support of Conejo Players Theatre.

As you may or may not know, we are a completely volunteer, nonprofit community theatre. At this time, we want to reassure you that we have no information indicating that we have, or have had, at our theatre any individual infected with COVID-19.

Consequently, at this time, we will be going forward with our normal production schedule at our 175-seat theatre as we believe the arts can be an invaluable resource for these trying times. Nevertheless, we have been carefully evaluating the current situation our community is facing in light of continuing challenges presented by the spread of COVID-19 and we want to do our part to help, and we would like to ask for your help as well.

Our theater has been and is regularly cleaned before and after performances
which includes the use of commercial disinfectants and cleaners in high traffic areas
used by patrons (which includes bathrooms, doors, handrails, seats, etc.) We would
ask you to do your part as well, including frequently washing your hands and to continue to practice healthy habits to prevent the spread of illness. The decision whether to attend a show is a personal decision based upon your current health and in consultation with medical professionals when appropriate. If you are ill or feel uncomfortable about being around others in the audience, we will provide you with a replacement ticket for a future production. The latest information can be found on the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and L.A. County Public Health and Ventura County Health Care websites.

We hope with our combined efforts that we can continue to provide our exciting 2020 season for all to enjoy.

Be well,

The CPT Board of Directors"
