Judy Garland and Bea Arthur Host JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS Benefit

Joseph Macchia presents Just In Time For Christmas: A Cabaret, to benefit Help Is On The Way Today and The Helen Sawaya Fund. Hosted by Peter Mac as Judy Garland and Dr. John Schaefer as Bea Arthur, the event will be held at New York City’s new music room, Upstairs at the Spoon (at restaurant, Spoodfed) on Dec. 17th. It features performances by Michael McAssey,Gary Lizardo, Tom Gamblin, Amanda Robles, Will Perez, Erika Amato,Caitlin McBride, Jae W Brown and Zach Balquin, with
Musical Direction by Yasuhiko Fukuoka.

Cabaret Cares/Help Is On The Way Today is a non-profit founded by Joseph Macchia in 2005 that helps children, teens, and youth living with HIV and AIDS in New York. Since its founding, Help is on the Way Today and Macchia has been changing children's lives, funding the organization's activities through a series of concerts featuring Broadway casts and top NYC talent from the theater and the cabaret world. The Helen Sawaya Fund is an organization that helps those living with cancer, reframing clinical treatment for cancer,  incorporating emotional support into conventional oncology treatments via a variety of complimentary therapies for patients and their families.
