Upcoming Runway Theatre Events Rescheduled

Runway Theatre has postponed its upcoming events due to the current health crisis.

Read the statement below:

Dear Runway Family,

The safety and wellbeing of each of you - our patrons, members, and volunteers - is our highest priority.

Theatre will always be a way for us to connect with one another as we open ourselves up to new ideas and ways of thinking, but at this time, much of our attention is rightly focused on the global health crisis surrounding coronavirus COVID-19.

To safeguard the health of our Runway family, and comply with the CDC guidelines, we have made the following changes to our calendar:

We must postpone our upcoming production of Young Frankenstein - the Mel Brooks Musical, which was to run April 3-26, 2020. The cast and crew have been working tirelessly for many weeks now and are as disappointed as we are over this decision, but we are all working together to bring this wonderful piece of theatre back to your creative home.

While we are still finalizing contracts and availability, we can tentatively announce much of the current cast and creative team will open Young Frankenstein - the Mel Brooks musical as part of our 38th Season, October 2, 2020 through October 25, 2020

Our box office is ready to exchange your tickets for any another production in our current season. You can email reservations@runwaytheatre.com or leave a message at 817-488-4842. Please allow up to 72 hours for response as we are an all-volunteer organization and expect a high volume of requests.

We are also cancelling our upcoming Season Reveal in-person event, but are planning some exciting (virtual) fun to announce a great line up for our 38th season! More details will be announced soon.

We are currently planning to hold auditions for Silent Sky as originally scheduled, adhering to very strict safety protocols and will contact all auditioners with details.

We'll continue to update you about future events and productions as this public health issue evolves. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to president@runwaytheatre.com.

Thank you for your loyalty and support now, and always. Because of you, we are confident we'll continue producing entertaining, live theatre in a welcoming home where we hope to see you soon.
