The play is a monologue where the scientist Einstein delivers his story in his own words to the audience. But what makes the play more relatable is the fact that the story is delivered in a very personal way. You can't be amongst the audience members and not be moved when the protagonist who portrays to be Einstein in the play begins retailing his own life story, complete with emotions and pathos. Einstein tells us how he was not a very bright child -- a story we have all heard and read but imagine the impact when you have Naseeruddin Shah as Einstein retelling you this. The fact that he looks like Einstein definitely makes it more engaging but then anyone who has watched Shah perform known the amount of personal energy and emotions he brings to a performance.
