DAUGHTERS to Rock Out at Bogen F The rock quartet, Daughters, is coming to play at Bogen F on Aug. 13.

Sounds of pain, heaviness that goes through and through: Daughters from Rhode Island have always made music on burning coals and have gone their separate ways from 2010 to 2013.

On their last year's album, "You Will not Get What You Want", the art noise rock band unfolds an impressive new strength and outlines the gloomy outlook on a world in a disastrous machine-like sound collage of clanking guitar noise and rumbling overdriven doomsday scenarios. Singer Alexis Marshall muses in the track "City Song" half-talking, half screaming about a city that is an empty glass. The grace is lost. The longing betrayed. "Pitchfork" describes them as "manic" and "unmistakable". "Punk News" highlights their "feverish energy" and "spastic urgency".

For their visceral performances Daughters are celebrated all over the world. One thing is certain: her scream from the intermediate world echoes again. "Their bodies are open. Their channels are open. This world is opening up. Up, up, up. "
