The New Jersey Ballet Joins Centenary Stage Company For An All-American Evening

The New Jersey Ballet joins the Centenary Stage Company for the 2019-20 season with two performances. On Saturday, November 2 at 8:00 pm the New Jersey Ballet will present an All American Evening and on Sunday, November 3 at 3:00 pm with the family favorite Hansel & Gretel. Both performances will be held in the Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center at 715 Grand Ave. Hackettstown, NJ.

The All American Evening features the American Masterwork Rodeo by Agnes De Mille with score by Aaron Copeland, Margo Sappington's haunting pas de deux Waterfront, and Matthew Rushing's tribute to Count Basie, Hand in Hand and James Kinney's Civil War homage American Salute. Tickets for the Saturday, November 2 at 8:00 pm performance of The All American Evening are $27.50 for adults and $15.00 for children under 12 in advance. All ticket prices increase $5.00 day of the event.

The New Jersey Ballet then returns on Sunday, November 3 at 2:00 pm with the family performance of Hansel and Gretel. A lively re-telling of the well-known fairy tale about a brother and sister who wander into a forest where they are captured by a witch in a fantastic gingerbread house. The spunky youngsters defeat the witch, free other children she had baked into gingerbread and are reunited with their loving parents in the happily-ever-after finale. Tickets for the Sunday, November 3 at 2:00 pm performance of Hansel and Gretel are $25.00 for adults and $15.00 for children under 12 in advance. All ticket prices increase $5.00 day of the event.
