CABARET to Play at Teatr Rozrywki Wilkommen to Cabaret, playing at Teatr Rozrywki Sept. 26 through Oct. 6.

In a Berlin nightclub, as the 1920's draw to a close, a garish Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience and assures them they will forget all their troubles at the CABARET. With the Emcee's bawdy songs as wry commentary, CABARET explores the dark, heady, and tumultuous life of Berlin's natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich. Cliff, a young American writer newly arrived in Berlin, is immediately taken by English singer Sally Bowles. Meanwhile, Fräulein Schneider, proprietor of Cliff and Sally's boarding house, tentatively begins a romance with Herr Schultz, a mild-mannered fruit seller who happens to be Jewish. Musical numbers include "Willkommen," "Cabaret," "Don't Tell Mama" and "Two Ladies."

The cast will feature Kamil Franczak as "Emcee," Wioleta Malchar-Mos and Malgorzata Regent as "Sally Bowles," Maciej Kulmacz and Hubert Waljewski as "Clifford Bradshaw," Maria Meyer as "Fraulein Schneider," Dariusz Wiktorowicz and Artur Swies as "Herr Schultz," Marek Chudzinski as "Ernst Ludwig," Marzena as "Fraulein Kost," Andrzej Lichosyt as "Ciula Celnik," Kamil Drezek as "Max," Hubert Waljewski and Maciej Kulmacz as "Bobby," Piotr Brodzinski as "Victor," Katarzyna Holub and Anna Surma as "Two Dames," Rafal Talarczyk as "Taksowkarz" and Zuzanna Marszal as "Gorilla."

The "Girlsies" include Barbara Ducka, Katarzyna Holub, Paulina Magaj, Joanna Mozdzan, Anna Surma and Magdalena Wojtacha.

The "Choir of Kelner" features Daniel Cebula-Orynicz, Michael Gucma, Dominik Koralewski, Jacek Pacholski, Rafal Talarczyk and Przemyslaw Witkowicz.
