THE SLOW READERS CLUB to Play at Nalen Klubb The Slow Readers Club rescheduled their April 29 concert at the Nalen Klubb for Aug. 13, 2019.

With a sound that is described as timeless and classic, The Slow Readers Club has become something of a phenomenon. The Manchester-based group makes alternative rock that is made to fill arenas. These rock anthems, which both powerhouse and pop, bring to the minds of groups such as Muse, Interpol and Editors, with a constant presence of the musicality and feeling with which the city of Manchester has become synonymous.

Last year, the latest album "Build a Tower" was released, which took The Slow Readers Club to numerous major festivals, such as Head for the Hills, Kaltern pop, Reeperbahn Festival and Haldern Pop, and they began 2019 playing Eurosonic. Now it is clear that they are going on a big tour with an exclusive stop in Stockholm.

"We've had plenty of fans making contact asking us to play all over Europe so it's great to finally be able to do so," says singer Aaron Starkie. "We had a great response at a few European festivals last year and think there will be a lot of people out there that would be into us."
