FULL CAST Announcement for ELISABETH IN CONCERT!

The successful production of ELISABETH- THE MUSICAL IN CONCERT is coming back to the grand forecourt of Schönbrunn Palace. From the 25th to the 27th of June, audiences can enjoy the dramatic story of Austrias Empress Elisabeth. The VEREINIGTE BÜHNEN WIEN earlier today released the Cast for the 2020 summer highlight.

Daniela Ziegler (Archduchess Sophie), David Jakobs (Luigi Lucheni), Hans Neblung (Duke Max from Bavaria), Lukas Perman (Archduke Rudolph) and Mark Seibert (The Death) are coming back to recreate their parts. New to the Concert family but familiar with the part is Maya Hakvoort (Elisabeth), she played the part in Vienna and all over the world. Hakvoort will be joined by Abla Alaoui who will be playing the young Elisabeth. A bit of a surprise as the part is usually played by only one Actress. Let's see how the creatives are putting it together. Maybe the 11'o clock number "Ich gehör nur mir" will be sung as a Duett from both Elisabeths. Also new in the cast are Katja Berg(Duchess Ludovika/ Broadwayworld Austria Award Winner/ Best Supporting Actress in a Musical) and Jan Ammann( Emperor Franz-Joseph).
