National Sawdust Pauses Programming

National Sawdust will pause programming due to Covid-19. Read a statement below:

With a heavy heart, but with the safety of our audiences, artists and staff in mind, National Sawdust has made the decision to suspend all programming beginning as of Friday, March 13 through end of April. Our staff will be continually monitoring the situation with the intention of reopening to the public as soon as possible once the danger of the COVID-19 pandemic has passed.

National Sawdust remains optimistic about the resilience and strength of the New York City artistic community in the months ahead. Our programmers are currently coordinating opportunities to reschedule our immediate roster of concerts for dates TBA and are exploring the logistical possibilities of online streaming for select events to our audiences. We are also continuing to move forward with plans for the National Sawdust Gala, scheduled for May 12, 2020, unless circumstances prevent us from doing so. More details will be made available in the near future.

Previously purchased tickets for all of our immediately postponed performances will be valid for their to-be-announced rescheduled dates. Alternately, tickets may be converted into a tax-deductible, charitable contribution to National Sawdust or credited to a National Sawdust membership. Ticket buyers can make these arrangements by contacting our box office directly via email at boxoffice@nationalsawdust.org.

Please bear in mind that our staff is currently working remotely and, given the circumstances, may be slower than usual in responding. We appreciate your understanding.

For the most up-to-date information regarding the rescheduling of shows and the resumption of programming, please visit NationalSawdust.org. We also encourage you to follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Over the past 5+ years, National Sawdust has strived to create a safe and nurturing home for creators from across the genre spectrum; providing artists the space, time and resources they need to present their art at its best. Rest assured that we have every intention of weathering this difficult moment and returning stronger than ever. Until then, we encourage you to be kind to yourselves and to others.
