The Brick Is Postponing All Events March 23-April 26

The Brick has postponed all upcoming performances through April 26.

They have released the following statement:

The Brick, along with all of our fellow cultural organizations, have been watching the current COVID-19 health crisis unfold. Our artists, staff, and audience are dearly important to us and we are committed to providing a healthy and safe environment.

Out of respect for our presenters and patrons, we are postponing our future programming at least until April 26th while we monitor the situation and heed the advice of medical professionals as well as city and state officials.

We are working with all of the artists affected by this postponement to reschedule their shows for future dates in 2020. While this news is not by any means welcome, we are heartened by the flexibility and understanding of everyone involved.

Currently on stage at The Brick is LAPA by The Million Underscores_ _, a beautiful, enigmatically engaging adaptation of the play by Daniil Kharms. We have agreed with the artists to finish their remaining performances through March 22 with a very limited capacity of seating to allow their brilliant show to have a life for those who are healthy and comfortable enough to attend.

If you have tickets for LAPA and would no longer like to attend, please contact theresa@bricktheater.com to refund or donate your tickets.

We will assess the scheduling of our upcoming events and will announce new dates in the coming weeks.

• A Scale Unfamiliar: OZET Songs April 1-April 5
• Envy on Fire by Asylos Theater April 8-11
• Against the Flesh by Nick Robideau April 16-24
• and
• The Man Who Doesn't Exist by Josephine Simple April 18-26
