The BodyguardThe first U.S. National tour of the smash hit musical The Bodyguard celebrates its final opening night Tuesday, April 10 at The Kravis Center in West Palm Beach, FL. The production will play its closing performance Sunday, April 15, 2018, after 439 performances in 44 cities across the U.S.

Produced by Michael Harrison, David Ian and Nederlander Presentations, Inc., and directed by Thea Sharrock, the U.S. National tour kicked off in Minneapolis, MN at the Orpheum Theatre on Tuesday January 10, 2017, after receiving its North American premiere at Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, NJ from November 25, 2016 - January 1, 2017.

The tour has been met with effusive standing ovations at every performance. "The musical doesn't just entertain theatregoers...it thrills them. They love this show. They clap and cheer, hoot and holler," claimed the South Florida Sun-Sentinel in last week's review of the Miami stop at The Arsht Center.

Grammy Award-nominated and multi-platinum R&B/pop recording artist and film/TV actress Deborah Cox has received rave reviews for her performance as superstar Rachel Marron. "Cox is simply spectacular," said the Tampa Bay Times recently. "In a word: Wow," said the Ft. Myers News-Press.

Original cast members appearing in the tour include television star Judson Mills as Frank Farmer, Alex Corrado (Tony Scibelli), Charles Gray (Bill Devaney), Jonathan Hadley (Sy Spector), Jorge Paniagua (the Stalker), Kevelin B. Jones III (Fletcher), plus ensemble members Megan Elyse Fulmer, Matthew Schmidt, Lauren Tanner and Naomi C. Walley.

Rounding out the cast are Sebastian Maynard-Palmer (Fletcher), Mark McCollough Thomas (Ray Court), Elyssa Jo Brown, Henry Byalikov, Devinn Harris, Alex Jackson, Megan Melville, DeQuina Moore, Kevin Mylrea, Stefan Raulston and Amber Snow.

Based on Lawrence Kasdan's 1992 Oscar nominated Warner Bros. film and adapted by Academy Award-winner (Birdman) Alexander Dinelaris, The Bodyguard had its world premiere on December 5, 2012 at London's Adelphi Theatre.
