Bruce Hornsby Makes His Sarasota Debut At Van Wezel

Bruce Hornsby, the creatively insatiable pianist and singer-songwriter from Williamsburg, Virginia, always has succeeded on his exceptional gifts, his training and his work ethic. He has collaborated with Ricky Skaggs and the Grateful Dead. He has scored films and performed with symphony orchestras. Hornsby describes his new album Absolute Zero as "a compendium of what I like and moves me." Prepare for a multi-faceted ride and don't miss his Sarasota debut at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on Sunday, March 29 at 7 p.m.

Hornsby, known for the hit song "The Way It Is," continues to push the envelope musically. Other hit-favorites in his repertoire include "Mandolin Rain," "On the Western Skyline," "Every Little Kiss," "The Valley Road" and "Across the River."
