Jupiter Theatre Brings Real-Life Magic To The Calgary Stage

Jupiter Theatre presents their Mainstage Production of the 2019/2020 Season: Mockus by George M. Johnson!

Mockus is a thrilling tale based on true events of a mayor desperate to save his city and the clown who inspires him through a world of imagination. The clown's antics, and his success, provoke fear and jealousy in this strange world not too far from our own. How will they survive, armed only with laughter and love? Featuring spectacular acrobatics and exhilarating music and dance, Mockus will transport you to the sublime world of the three-ring circus.

This Premiere production runs March 26th to April 4th, 2020 at the West Village Theatre, 2007 10th Ave SW.

Evening shows begin at 7:30 pm and there will be Pay-What-You-Can Matinees on Sunday March 29th and Saturday April 4th at 2:00 pm. An ASL Interpreted performance will take place on Sunday, March 29th at 2:00 pm.

Tickets are on sale now and available through the Jupiter Theatre Online Box Office: www.theatrejupiter.com/tickets

There will be Q&A sessions with the performers on the stage after the first preview on Thursday, March 26th and with the playwright on Friday, March 27th. An Opening Night Gala will be held directly after the performance in the lobby on Saturday, March 28th.
