Spamilton: An American Parody

Spamilton, the musical comedy sensation that already has had New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles rolling in the aisles opens tonight at London's Menier Chocolate Factory.

From Gerard Alessandrini, the mastermind behind the legendary Forbidden Broadway, comes a side-splitting new musical that roasts, eviscerates, and celebrates Lin-Manuel Miranda's hit musical Hamilton.

When Spamilton first opened in New York, in 2016, it instantly became a critics and audience favorite during its run. The hit then opened in Chicago where it became the hottest ticket in town and this winter ended an acclaimed run at Los Angeles' Center Theatre Group.

The London production of Spamilton features Marc Akinfolarin, Jason Denton, Eddie Elliott, Liam Tamme, Julie Yammanee with Sophie-Louise Dann and Damian Humbley.

Written and directed by Mr. Alessandrini, the creative team includes Gerry McIntyre (choreography), Morgan Large (set design), Dustin Cross (costume design), Glenn Bassett (set and prop design), Richard Danley and Fred Barton (musical arrangements), and Michael Cassara (casting director). The Menier Chocolate Factory production of Spamilton is presented in association with by John Freedson, David Zippel, and Christine Pedi.
