Dixon Place Will Present the Premiere of Tadeusz Von Moltke Trilogy GENET 110 to Honor Jean Genet

DIXON PLACE will Present the Premiere of TADEUSZ VON MOLTKE's trilogy GENET 110, to honor LGBTQ icon, writer, activist Jean Genet in his 110th birthday year.

Curator PHILLIP J. AMMONDS, the driving force of DIXON PLACE's QUEER TEXT, Rainbows Across The Diaspora reading series, has selected highlights from the trilogy's first panel, "Dear Mr. Frechtman" as a pinnacle event of the series season finale.

"Dear Mr. Frechtman" is a solo performance by TADEUSZ VON MOLTKE in the form of a letter to Bernard Frechtman, Genet's official translator.

Panels Two and Three of the GENET 110 trilogy, UNDER THE INFLUENCE, a drag cabaret for two performers (DYNASTY meets QUERELLE), and CLOSE SURVEILLANCE, The Misadventure of An Innocent Killer, a one-act play for five actors set in a prison cell on Death Row, will premiere later in the course of the 2020 Jean Genet anniversary year.
