HERE Suspends Programming Through March 31

As of today, March 12, HERE will suspend programming and close its offices through March 31. This proactive measurement has been taken in response to the recent outbreak of COVID-19 in the Tri-State area.

HERE values the health and wellbeing of its theatergoers, artists, and employees, and believes this suspension of performances is the best course of action for their community. HERE is following the lead of city, state, and federal elected officials as well as the recommendations of the Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

"As a continuation of our environment of compassion and care for each other," says Founding Artistic Director Kristin Marting, "we send sincerest well wishes to our community and all those affected by this evolving situation. Our community and the artists that inspire us are needed now, more than ever, especially in this particularly uncertain time, and we look forward to celebrating performances together in the future."

While ticket refunds are available, HERE is hopeful that audiences will donate the cost of their ticket to help support their artists and staff during this difficult time. More information can be found at here.org.

The OBIE-winning HERE (Kristin Marting, Founding Artistic Director) was named a Top Ten Off-Off Broadway Theatre by Time Out New York, is a leader in the field of producing and presenting new, hybrid performance viewed as a seamless integration of artistic disciplines-theater, dance, music and opera, puppetry, media, visual and installation, spoken word and performance art.
