Heartwarming Romantic Comedy DANCING LESSONS to Play The Roxy Regional Theatre's Theotherspace

Two lonely individuals find a connection through dance in the latest offering upstairs in the Roxy Regional Theatre's theotherspace.

Starring Ian Alexander Erbe and Emma Jordan, the heartwarming romantic comedy DANCING LESSONS plays the 50-seat black-box theatre located upstairs at the Roxy for four evenings only, February 17 through February 25.

Written by Mark St. Germain and directed by Ryan Bowie, DANCING LESSONS centers on Ever, a socially awkward young man with Asperger's syndrome, who seeks the instruction of a Broadway dancer, Senga, to learn enough dancing to survive an awards dinner. Senga, however, is recovering from an injury that may stop her dancing career permanently. As their relationship unfolds, Ever and Senga are caught off-guard by the discoveries -- both hilarious and heartwarming -- that they make about each other and about themselves.

DANCING LESSONS is presented in theotherspace, the 50-seat black-box theatre located upstairs at the Roxy, and plays at 7:00pm on February 17, 18, 24 and 25. Please note: Due to language and content, this production is recommended for mature audiences only.

DANCING LESSONS is made possible in part by Tim & Kris Lee and is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York.
Tickets are $20 and may be purchased online at www.roxyregionaltheatre.org, by phone at (931) 645-7699, or at the theatre during regular box office hours (9:00am to 2:00pm, Monday through Friday, and one hour prior to curtain).
