Andrea Galata And Chiara De Caroli Return To The Korean Festival

After being invited to perform to the last year's edition of the world-famous Seoul Web Fest with their choreography for the debut of pop single All Around You by Cristiano, the Italian born, New York based duo of performers Andrea Galata and Chiara De Caroli is back at the Korean Festival -this time, featured on the official poster for the 2019 edition that will take place in Seoul from the 21st to the 23rd of August. But it looks like there more than that, an actual thin but strong line linking their careers with Asia, always passing through New York and its international, diverse creative stage.

With a preshow early this winter and a 6-weeks long Summer Tour in 24 cities across China (New York's own FunikiJam interactive show Rhythm Boom Boom) and a recurring role in two seasons of Japanese TV show Otona-no Kiso-Eigo on NHK's, Galata is definitely not new to the Asian entertainment world, and this comeback to Korea circles back to a series of fields Galata has been working in through his career: dance, film and digital & transmedia works.

As far as De Caroli is concerned, after being appointed as a model and spokesperson at the UCT Unesco for the United Nations 72nd anniversary celebrations, and after dancing on stage in Seoul last year, this year's symbolic comeback is in line with her upcoming new projects, all based on the will to use art a way to unite different cultures and to raise awareness on socially important matters.
